My work in corpus-informed pedagogy and Data-Driven Learning (DDL) focuses on translating corpus research into practical materials that help learners explore authentic patterns of language use.
As part of my doctoral research, I developed corpus-informed materials for teaching noun + noun sequences in academic writing using data from the Applied Linguistics Corpus (ApLing). These materials were designed to help learners notice patterns in authentic disciplinary texts, analyze how noun + noun sequences function in context, and apply those patterns in their own academic writing.
